Cookie Policy
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Fluency Pty Ltd ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on usefiuency.com (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy. The Site is the marketing and account-access point for the Fluency workflow-analytics platform; cookies on the Site support the Site's operation and help us understand how operations leaders discover and engage with Fluency.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognise your device across pages and sessions, store preferences you have set, and measure how the Site is used. We also use related browser storage technologies such as localStorage, which operates on similar principles.
3. How We Use Cookies
The Site uses the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | session token, CSRF token, cookie-banner dismissal state | session to 12 months |
| Preferences | display preferences | up to 12 months |
| Analytics | anonymised pageview and session counts (self-hosted) | up to 13 months |
| Marketing | not currently used | not applicable |
Fluency does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics data collected via cookies on the Site is anonymised and used solely to understand which content is most useful to the operations practitioners we serve.
4. Notice and Choice
By continuing to use the Site, you acknowledge our use of cookies as described above. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time using our cookie notice banner or by configuring your browser to block or delete cookies. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled without affecting core site functionality.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Analytics cookies used on the Site are served from Fluency's own infrastructure (self-hosted). We do not currently load third-party analytics scripts that set cookies under a domain other than usefiuency.com. Font resources are loaded from Google Fonts; Google may set performance or preference cookies under its own domains, subject to Google's privacy policy.
6. Managing Cookies
- Use the cookie notice banner shown on your first visit to acknowledge and manage analytics preferences.
- You can reopen cookie preferences at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the Site footer.
- Browser settings allow you to view, block, or delete cookies; for instructions by browser, see aboutcookies.org.
- Deleting cookies will reset your preferences, and the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit.
7. Changes and Contact
The Company may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any change. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
